According to students' handbook, there are some important rules for the detained students. And this rule will begin from 2018.09 for ALL batch students.
Rule No. 21 in Chapter four: Students who has failed more than 3 subjects within one academic year can’t continue to the next stage of education and must restudy the failing subjects with the next batch. Those detained students must pay the same tuition fee and have same classes with the new batch since the year they detained. Students must pass the basic medical courses integrated exam before entering the clinical courses and pass the clinical medical courses integrated exam before internship.
All detained students must pay the same tuition fee as the junior batch every acedemic year since the year they are deatained.
Example:
Student A from 2014 batch failed in four subjects in 2018.06. So he must repeat his 4th academic year again with 2015 batch from 2018.09. He must pay the same tuition fee as 2015batch students in 2018.09. That is to say, any detained students will also have to pay the total tuition fee for the detained years.
Any one who detained once, will pay for 7 year's tuition fee. Any one who detained twice, will pay for 8 year's tuition fee, and ......
