According toregulations all students must register at
their local police dispatch station within 24 hours entering into China
and when they change their information or address. Here we remind everyone,when
living off campus you must be sure that the source of information on your
housing is reliable,and that rent procedures are completed according to
legal regulations.
After check-in in
dorm, students who live on campus should collect
the"Accommodation Registration Form"from the dormitory management office
and go to the local police station to register your accommodation on the
same day or the next day.
1. On-campus registration:
-Submit 2 copies of your passport(photo &visa pages).
-Pay accommodation fces with Chinese bank card or foreign bank card with UnionPay logo (cashnot accepted).
-Collect room keys at the dormitoy management office.

East Campus, Dormitory 2 (海2）, for Boys in Foundation Program, RMB 8000/Year/double room
East Campus, Dormiotry 19 (东19）, for Girls in Foundation Program, RMB 9000/Year/double room
Dushuhu Campus, Building 801, for Boys/Girls in MBBS & Pharmacy Program, RMB 6000/Year/double room
2. Off-campus registration:
According to relevant regulations,scholarship students must obtain approval for off-campusaccommodation before residing outside university housing.Other international students may freely choose to live in private residences.The specific procedures are as follows:
Secure Off-Campus Housing: Students are responsible for finding their own accommodation.Upon confirmation,sign a rental agreement with the landlord.
Police Registration:With your passport and rental contract,visit the local police station in the jurisdiction of your rental property accompanied by the landlord to complete registration and obtainthe "Temporary Residence Registration Form for Foreigners".
3. Address for offline police registration (recommend for your first arrival in current address or need the receipt for visa application):
East Campus:Fengmen Police Station (No. 89 Beichengwan Street,Gusu District,Suzhou) 苏州市公安局姑苏分局葑门派出所(苏州市，姑苏区，北城湾街89号)
Dushu Lake Campus:Yong'an Qiao Police Station Window (No.39 Jinyuan Street, SIP ,Suzhou)苏州市永安桥派出所窗口(苏州市，工业园区，金园街39号)
4. Online police registration (recommend for your return from holidays):
Step 1: Scan the QR code and follow the official WeChat public account of Suzhou Public Security Bureau.
Step 2: Tap ‘微服务’ (online services) and then ‘出入境服务’ (exit-entry services) on the bottom menu bar.
Step 3: Select ‘境外人员临时住宿登记’ (temporary residence registration for foreigners)
Step 4: Read the notice and then select your identity.
Step 5:①Fill out your personal information as required, receive and enter SMS verification code, tap ‘confirm’. ②Scan the address QR code to enter your accommodation address, which is normally above the front door. ③Upload relevant photos as required, and tap ‘submit application’.
Step 6: Return to the application page and check the application result.
